I didn't get into photography until later in life, but looking back, I always had a creative streak that ultimately leads me to my current love of photography. One of the biggest creative influences in my life was my grandmother. She enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening, and many creative endeavors. As a young child, I spent hours with her painting, drawing, and being creative. I most likely inherited my creative genes from her. One of my favorite and cherished pictures of my grandmother was taken in the 1920s. I was told it was just a quick photo taken of her at a small drug store. It's photos like these that mean the most to me and my family.
